Here is a list of the documents we will typically need to open a new estate:
- Original will (if applicable)
- Death certificate
- Paid funeral bill
- Evidence of assets in the estate: car titles, bank statements, etc.
At your consultation, we’ll gather information about the estate, give you an estimate of the cost and timeline, and propose a plan of action. If we can take your case, we’ll send you an invoice for the fee deposit and an engagement letter that you can e-sign.
